Agricultural holding "KOMOS GROUP" has sent a first batch of ice cream to China

At the end of February, the first batch of ice cream under the "Selo Zelenoe" and "Toptyzhka" brands with a total weight of 26 tons was shipped to the China fr om the production site of the Permsky Khladokombinat "Sozvezdie" of JSC "MILKOM". Approximately in two weeks, three large-capacity vehicles with products will arrive at the destination of the cargo-Manchuria, from wh ere it will be distributed to the trade networks of the PRC.

"This batch of ice cream was shipped as part of a contract concluded by our company with a professional operator of the Chinese ice cream market, which has all the conditions for effective sales of this type of product: its own logistics base, warehouses, access to retail networks, etc.," said Andrey Shutov, managing shareholder of KOMOS group LLC. "In case of success, we plan to deliver up to 500 tons of ice cream to China by the end of the year, which is about 8 million servings."

On the eve of signing the specification for the product delivery agreement, the Chinese side conducted an audit of the production Department of the Constellation ice cream company, which included a tasting of the full line of ice cream of the "Selo Zelenoe" and "Toptyzhka brands", as well as local brands. According to the results of the tasting, the first batch for the Chinese market included ice cream with natural ice cream, cream and chocolate flavors, creme brulee and ice cream with fruit and berry filling " raspberry "TM" Selo Zelenoe "and"Toptyzhka". Also, Chinese partners preferred such product groups as "briquette","ice cream on waffles","Popsicle on a stick", "family (home) ice cream".

"In order to preserve the structure of ice cream, its organoleptic properties, we have organized delivery of products by special vehicles that maintain a constant temperature inside the body at -250 C," continued Andrey Shutov. In accordance with the requirements of the Customs Union, products are shipped for export together with representatives of the Supervisory authorities – the Russian agricultural Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor), Russian customer supervision (Rospotrebnadzor), and the animal disease control station. "We fully inspected the products ready for shipment, which were stored in the tempering chamber, measured the temperature of the ice cream, checked the availability of all production batches, and then checked the car for the presence of sanitary treatment of the body and the driver's health book. Recall that the protocols on mutual deliveries of dairy products were signed in early November 2019 in Beijing during a regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China. JSC "MILCOM" became the first Russian supplier of milk and dairy products to the territory of China, approved by the General customs administration of China.
